Mentorship Program
Law students are encouraged to participate in KABA’s Mentorship Program in which students are matched with attorneys in similar fields of practice. To participate, complete the KABA Mentorship Form.

2010 Annual Scholarship
The Korean American Bar Association of Washington (“KABA”) awards one $1,000.00 scholarship to a law student attending a law school in Washington State. The scholarship is intended to recognize a law student who has a demonstrated significant commitment to community service, particularly service to the Korean/Korean American community. You need not be of Korean ethnicity to apply.
JUDGING CRITERIA
All applicants will be judged on the following criteria:
Community service and community involvement, particularly service to the Korean/Korean American community;
Academic achievement, work experience, activities, and post-law school goals; and
Essay.
There is no minimum G.P.A. requirement
SELECTION & NOTIFICATION
The scholarship recipient will be selected and notified by the KABA Scholarship Committee.
The award will be presented at the KABA Annual Banquet (Luncheon) on February 18, 2010.

January 15, 2010, Applications are DUE.
January 22, 2010, Finalists contacted for interviews.
February 1 - 12, 2010, Interviews
February 12, 2010, Notification
February 18, 2010, Scholarship Presentation at the KABA Annual Banquet
