The 2010 Annual KABA Banquet

The keynote speaker for the 2010 banquet was Christopher Kang.  He is an attorney and has been a legislative insider for several years. He currently serves as the Special Assistant to President Obama for Legislative Affairs. He focuses his work on proposals considered by four Senate Committees: Armed Services, Intelligence, Judiciary and Veterans Affairs. He has devoted much of his experience to the Asian community not only in legislation, but also serving as Vice President for Community Affairs of APABA-DC (Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Washington DC) and as Vice President of the APABA Educational Fund.

The 2008 Annual KABA Banquet was another huge success!

The keynote speaker for the 2008 KABA Banquet was Mark Keam. After graduating from UC-Hastings, he  has held a number of influential positions in private, public, and political organizations, including service in the Clinton Administration. Currently, he is VP and Counsel for Federal Government Relations at Verizon Communications and accepts occasional speaking engagements.
